Another sad day for both Geeklog and Mac users: A year after macfixit.com, CNET has now also converted versiontracker.com to some howngrown software of their own.

Versiontracker wasn't really a Geeklog site, but if you clicked through to the comments section for each program, you could see the familiar Geeklog comment engine at work.

Btw, I'll never understand why CNET stops using all those established domain names they get with aquisitions like this one ...
