I'd say it's very likely that we will have a few plugin-related projects again this year (like we did in previous years). Did you have anything specific in mind?


One project from a previous GSoC that's still waiting to be rolled out is the Plugin Repository[1]. The idea was to allow direct installs of plugins from a repository of plugins, e.g. on geeklog.net - a bit like installing a plugin in Firefox. I was actually thinking about maybe adding at least the Geeklog end into the upcoming Geeklog 1.8.0, so that we have it in place once we finally manage to get the actual repository up and running. Maybe that's something you'd be interested in (not as a GSoC project, but to get an idea how things are working)?
