Can I suggest a different approach? Release an rc3 soon (as in the next few days) and then wait 2 weeks.

If we announce that we expect this to be the final rc, it could possibly motivate a few people to actually try things out. And we did have a few bugs that may benefit from another round of testing (e.g. that More… bug but also the FCKEditor update).

Speaking of bugs: Why doesn't http://www.geeklog.net/article.php/geeklog-1.8.2sr1#comments take me to the comments section? We seem to be missing the "comments" anchor there somewhere.
