However, further investigation showed that 1.19 will be discontinued in May (next month). So... I probably need to upgrade to latest and greatest. I may also migrate to a new VPS server (same provider, just new server with more recent Linux OS installed) which would need a DNS record update to point to the new server. I might still go ahead and do the intermediate upgrade soonish if I find a few hours of free time. Many mediawiki extensions got moved into core. The directory for extensions included these entries: ConfirmEdit/ Gadgets/ Nuke/ ParserFunctions/ Renameuser/ Vector/ WikiEditor/ I doubt that these were used ever since the time the geeklog wiki was moved to my VPS and upgraded. The names of these extensions don't ring a bell. "WikiEditor" sounds suspicious but since I can apparently still edit pages, I don't think it's really needed. I'd say leave them out and if something doesn't work anymore, we at least know now where to look.
