Yes, I think the default setting once this makes it into Geeklog will be
for the spelling feature to be turned off. The sample code I submitted
to the development team already supported turning the feature on or off.
Keep in mind the spelling feature is browser independent. So, if you
have people *besides* you using the site who may submit a
story/comment/etc it would still make sense to enable it for those
people who do not have spelling built into the browser.
You next question may be if we plan on implementing support of this
feature on a user-by-user basis. Right now I seriously doubt it but if,
after we release the first version of it, enough people scream for it we
will look at incorporating it then.
