Ok, we just finished coding functional authorized SMTP sending from within
GL:
Admin mail users
Forums
Stories updates
Manual digest
zClassifieds (still working)

We are using PHPmailer class

There are code changes throughout various pages that need to be done to make
this work.
Is there a cleaner way to do this in just one place?
If not, and we keep things as they are now, how to best document and release
to GL community?
Is this a HACK or something more than a hack?

Thanks very much and look forward to sharing this with everyone ASAP.
A few paypal bucks would be nice because developers must eat, but at your
discretion.
