Geeklog doesn't expose any email addresses - with the one exception of
the {site_mail} variable that you can use in the header.thtml, if you want.

The discussion on geeklog-devel was about spamming blogs, e.g. the
comments. This seems to be a (relatively) new trend, as mentioned in a
forum thread on geeklog.net recently and also in a post on Slashdot yesterday:
