If you add this "enhancement", can you make it user selectable or
at least keep the current system too. A few of the other CMS'
move blocks in the exact same fashion. I've tried this feature
out on them before and think it's slow and tedious. Say you want
to move a block from the bottom left to the top right, it
requires hitting the arrows multiple times and waiting for the
page to reload in-between each move. After moving it, say you
decide no it looks better where it was before. This requires
multiple clicking and page reloading again. Although not the
most ideal system, under GL's current one I can move blocks all
around the page with far less effort than using the arrow system.

developers -
please post to geeklog-devtalk or geeklog-users instead.
I haven't looked at your patch yet, but I know Blaine wanted to
look at
it to see if it could be integrated into the next Geeklog
release.
