Dirk, sometime back you were working on a bug submission module for 
Geeklog (if I remember correctly).  You seemed pretty much done last 
time I saw it and I was wondering where it is and what it's named.  I 
can't find it.

It's a plugin for support tickets (think help desk), not bug reports. For
bug reports, have a look at Vinny's Mantis integration.

I haven't released it yet. And I'm in the process of rewriting large
portions of it, although I'm pretty much done with "phase 1" now. It's
back in a working state now, although I have more ideas that I want to
implement. Email me if you're interested ...

Just a warning:
The Mantis integration has a few problems scaling when there are
thousands of users (on the order of the geeklog.net or larger).  I'm
working on fixing that, but don't expect anything soon. :)

Just a note to let you know that since the introduction of the SpamX plugin, 
it appears that the comment spam problem has stopped.  I can't believe that 
we have scared them away so easily, but for now I would put the problem on 
the back burner and would not recommend a lot of effort in including the 
functionality in Geeklog.  

I only had one visit after installing the plugin and that is the experience 
of most.  Downloads of the plugin have almost stopped.

Aren't we just delaying the inevitable.  All indications are this will 
get worse before it gets better.  Granted we may not have that many 
targetting Geeklog specifically but I think including this is still a 
good idea.  I realize you aren't saying drop it but to simply put it on 
the back burner.  I figured the effort (little) is worth the gain.

Dirk, your thoughts?  I you are still agreeable, I may take a swag at 
integrating it into the default GL installation.
