Team...read below.
Did the story aging thing ever get formally approved? I think it with
the integrated spamx plugin will go a long ways. I'll try and make
myself available in IRC to help clean up any remaining tasks that are
holding up our 1.3.10 release.
Michael, thanks for the note. CC'ing you just so you know we aren't
ignoring you.

Dear Webmaster
Apparently the spammers are back ... I had new incidents on September
25 and Oct 4th using 1.3.9-sr1, with anonymous access disabled. It was
nothing like the earlier incursion, where hundreds of comments were
posted, but in any story that had comments there was one or more spam
comments attached at the same level. Sub-comments were not so extended.
(the fact there were replies may be coincidence ... this is just an
observation). It appears that the incidents were by different spammers,
or at least they were focusing on different porn sites.
I am using email because I tried to sign up with the security listserv
and got an 'internal error' message.
The site, btw, is sasci.anthrosciences.org. It has been a bit quite
recently, but will be relaunched this autumn. I do like geeklog, even
after tracking a lot of the more recent efforts.
Thanks
Michael
