This link has seems to be useful:
http://hugi.to/dev/google/
This link says that google actually penalizes for 303 redirects(not sure
of the source):
http://elouai.com/redirect.php
Also, I checked google for "soquili center" and the url is now correct
so 302 may be okay for google now but yahoo.com still shows my url
instead of the link for "soquili center" (soquilicenter.org)
I changed my portal.php status to 301. We'll see which works better.
301 or 303. The question is will be which one gives better page ranking
points to the link.
I'm tempted to make portal.php a page with no redirects and a direct
link for the user to click on and maybe a 5 second meta refresh kind of
like when you go to download a program off of download.com
