One thing I don't miss - the Scottish weather ... "It must be summer, the
rain's much warmer these days".

Depends on when you pulled your copy from CVS - I've changed things back
and forth a bit. There are also some new config variables that must be
set to true or you won't see anything. There are also new template files,
changes in others (article/article.php and the admin/story files) and a
new story.ping permission. If you have all that, you should have

- a "Trackback" entry in your Admin block
- a "Ping" link on the article.php page
- a "Ping" column in the Admin's list of stories
- a Trackback section on the article.php page
- a Trackback section in the What's New block

You're right on the seamless integration. It would be too much of a
nuisance to cater for that special group of users otherwise.

Speaking of groups: I like that idea of sticking those users in a group
of their own. They will still have to be in the All Users and Logged-in
Users groups, but they should be added to a new one, say, Authenticated
Users (or whatever) that only contains those users.

One problem I see with the TypeKey users: They can vote not to let their
email address be submitted to the other site. So we may end up with a
bunch of users without an email address. We'll have to review the code to
see if that causes any problems anywhere.

bye, Dirk
