See, that's the thing that confused me, if I visit that url I get:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<response>
<error>1</error>
<message>No URL given.</message>
</response>

So I don't want to put that into my article as a 'broken' link. I don't know
if that's because the system is unfinished, or a bug, or an oversight, or a
stupid user (me) or what but...

Much.

If it only sends on publish, then it works fine and makes it easier to
handle. MoveableType has a trackback via a bookmarklet I was reading, which
pre-enters the trackback url into the post form.

Manualy via the trackback form ;-)

Working on a new one based on latest professional as even 1.3.10 I think
introduced thtml files that my default theme (still) lacks. Pain in the rear
keeping up with the theme ;-)
