Instead of having people register to prevent comment-spam, I would rather
suggest to put a image-coded text to every comment that has to be typed up
before saving the comment.

that might be the best way to fight robot-placed spam.

jpgraph is offiering such a function.

its a pure PHP script. and free for most.
