seems to me a perfect solution anyway. You could create a new plugin
with your preferred editor built-in, then uninstall the staticpages
plugin and replace with your own. It could save you a little time, and
if you release it on geeklog.net it could save others time as well.</font></p>

Subject: [geeklog-devtalk] HTML area for Geeklog
What does everyone think about adding HTML AREA wysiwyg
editor to the static pages editor of geeklog.
I install it for everyone of the GL sites I install.
The new version includes a image browser that lets you load
images straight from the desktop. It really makes editing
static pages easier.
