I agree that wikis don't have an ideal interface.  Unfortunately, 
though, I don't think that there is a better option for what we are 
trying to do.  Doing everything through CVS would probably work really 
nicely, but that would probably discourage a large number of users from 
contributing to the documentation.  Now, that might be a good thing or 
a bad thing, depending on how you look at it...  but currently I am 
leaning toward a Wiki being the best way to get the collaborative 
documentation effort up and running.
