The information I found is in the documentation in the wiki. Combining
that with a little testing on my side allowed me to get to the results I
needed. IMO, if you are going to recommend alternatives, you should

As for making recommendations...

The is the Geeklog Users mailing list. It is sponsored by the Geeklog
project, and it is hosted on the Geeklog domain. If this was a "how do
I chose a CMS" or a general "CMS questions" type mailing list or forum
(such as on LinkedIn), then you answer would have been appropriate.
However, being a Geeklog specific support list should be a pretty big
clue that the answers provided should be appropriate to Geeklog.

Now, that's not to say there wasn't appropriate ways to answer the
question, such as "I don't think Geeklog is the best for this, maybe
something else would be better. We can discuss alternatives off the
mailing list." or "Maybe someone else has a better answer. However, I
have some alternatives, contact me off the mailing list for additional
information."

In this way, you provide an answer, while allowing the list to stick to
the project that hosts it, and is the primary focus.
