[Whitmandemsannounce] Nominating Conventions and Campaign Volunteers

I apologize for all of the emails we have been sending your way and for 
the length of this email, but with campaign season starting up there is 
a lot of information to pass along.

First, to Delegates elected at the Whitman County Convention,
As a reminder the 5th Congressional District Caucus will be Saturday May 
17th at 10:00 am at Trent Elementary Auditorium 3303 N. Pines (at the 
intersection of Trent and Pines) in Spokane. The Washington State 
Democrats Convention will be June 13th to 15th in Spokane at the 
Convention Center.

Second, to Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs),
The Whitman County Democrats Nominating Convention (the meeting that 
will select our Democratic Candidate for the county offices up for 
election this year) will be Wednesday May 14th after the Whitman County 
Democrats meeting at the Holiday Inn Express in Pullman. The Whitman 
County Democrats monthly meeting will start at 6:30 pm. The 5th 
Congressional District Democratic Nominating Convention will be 
happening right after the 5th Congressional District Caucus on Saturday 
May 17th.


Third, Calling All Democrats, We Need Volunteers!

With campaigns preparing to get underway in the next month we need 
volunteers to fill specific positions on campaigns. If you are 
interested in volunteering please contact Carolyn Cress at 
ccress at whitmandemocrats.org or (509) 334-0999. Our top priority is to 
find individuals to fill the following campaign positions for several 
campaigns:

Campaign Managers
Treasurers
Schedulers
Fundraisers
Graphic Designers

Anyone is welcome to volunteer, but if you have specific experience that 
would pertain to any of the above positions you are highly encouraged to 
volunteer. If you are interested please contact Carolyn Cress at 
ccress at whitmandemocrats.org or (509) 334-0999 and include any relevant 
experience you might have, any skills that would be helpful to the 
position you're interested in, and your time availability to volunteer. 
We're looking to take advantage of the diverse skills of Democrats 
throughout Whitman County and this is a great opportunity for you to put 
your skills to work electing Democrats!

And if you aren't interested in any of the above volunteer opportunities 
we are looking for people to volunteer helping with the following 
activities:

Research
Writing Letters to the Editor
Putting up Signs
Doorknocking
Phone Calling

Fourth, as a final item, the Whitman County Democrats Monthly meeting 
will be Wednesday May 14th at 6:30 pm at the Holiday Inn Express in 
Pullman. Every Democrat in Whitman County is welcome to come!
