If so, Herb Hill and I would like to meet with you at the Daily Grind on Thursday at 7pm to talk with you about campaigning for this position. Let me know so that I can send you the list of Delegates and Alternates who will be voting on May 17 in Spokane. The Bylaws can be viewed at http://www.whitmandemocrats.org/files/whitdem-bylaws-20070321.pdf The proposed amendment is to page 4 line 4 of the bylaws, that currently reads: "Endorsement and full support by the Executive Board shall; i. Be limited to one candidate per office in each general election," The proposed amendment will strike the words "in each general election", making the wording read: "Endorsement and full support by the Executive Board shall; i. Be limited to one candidate per office," The effect of this change will be to allow endorsements of candidates by the Whitman County Democrats before a primary election has been held, allowing our organization to provide them with whatever resources we see fit before the primary election. If you have any questions about this bylaws amendment please feel free to email me at nhorter at whitmandemocrats.org
