The monthly meeting of the Whitman County Democrats will be held
Wednesday, the 19th at 6:30 pm at Headquarters, 127 N Grand Ave, Pullman.

As a reminder the Whitman County Democrats will be holding their
reorganization meeting to elect officers for the 2009-2010 cycle on
Saturday December 6th from 1:15 to 2:30 at Neill Library in Pullman in
the Edith Hecht Room. The positions currently up for election are Chair,
Vice-Chair, Secretary, State Committeewoman, and State
Committeeman, and our Treasurer Michael Lowrey is running for
re-election. Any Democrat may be nominated, but only elected PCOs
(Precinct Committee Officers) may vote. If you wish to put your name
in nomination, or wish to nominate someone else, you can do so
by informing Carolyn Cress at 509-334-0999 or by attending the Dec. 6
meeting.

We will also be discussing our upcoming newsletter, breaking down the
headquarters and a Christmas Party.

As a reminder the Whitman County Democrats will be reorganizing on
Saturday December 6th from 1:15pm to 2:30pm in the Edith Hecht Room in
the Neill Library in Pullman. We will be electing a Chair, Vice-Chair,
Secretary, State Committeewoman, State Committeeman and Treasurer. Our
current treasurer Michael Lowery is running for re-election. Any
Democrat may be nominated. If you wish to put your name

Only PCO's elected in the August Primary will be able to vote, but
everyone is welcome and encouraged to come. We will also be forming
committees (newsletter, candidates, technology, events, etc) and anyone
wanting to volunteer should come so they can help shape those committees
from the start.

During a  recent phone conversation with our son, Markus Hutnak, who
lives in Washington, D.C. we talked about the upcoming inauguration. He
mentioned that if there are Democrats in Pullman and surrounding areas
who would like to attend the inauguration in January, he would consider
renting out his apartment near Dupont Circle. Anyone interested should

Whitman County Democrats Vice-Chair and Secretary on the birth of their
baby girl Dorina Reina DeGraaff. Born November 19, 2008 at 1:33pm, 7
pounds and 13 ounces.
