Its easy to convert the schema to Oracle if that is what you are asking. As 
far as GL supporting Oracle, don't know the answer to that. Assuming that 
PEAR makes the db transparent it probably could be done.

Since I don't know PEAR yet  and all the innards of GL. My opinion is 
worth  a grain of salt.
