I did just that now and updated Damn Spam!

I've set it up in a new directory and forgot to copy over my old
config.php, so I had to set all my options again afterwards. Doh!

Other than that, everything went smoothly. The site is rather spartan,
though: No polls, no calendar, only Bad Behavior and the NetTools as
additional plugins.
