I've toyed with the idea of adding Microformats but didn't really see
the need for a "framework" that could be used for them. After all, it's
only a bunch of additional attributes on some HTML tags. So this didn't
seem like much of a project.

This may change with the HTML Microdata[1] mechanism for HTML 5. Haven't
had a chance to look into any of the details yet, though.
