Are you thinking of releasing 1.8.0 this weekend?

I will get the news post ready for then. It will basically be a recap with
more developer specific changes found in the read more section and the pages
they can go to find more information on each subject.

So all I had to do on the other end was to write the release announcement
and approve the file from the File Management's submission queue. This is
such a huge improvement over the previous process which required half a
dozen manual steps ...
