Hmm, line 49 in config.php is this one:

$_DB_dbms         = 'mysql';        // Do not change (currently, only
MySQL is supported)

Anything unusual there? Check for additional line breaks, missing quotes
or semicolons.

If that doesn't help: Can you quote that portion of your config.php
(without the database password, of course)?
