[geeklog-users] Puzzling problem

I've seen effects like in these screenshots when magic_quotes_runtime was
set to "on" in the PHP configuration (php.ini). Note the \" in the
various edit fields.

However, magic_quotes_runtime is not a setting that goes on or off all by
itself. Are you or your hosting service playing with the server's
settings on occasion?

Geeklog will not work properly (actually, hardly at all) with
magic_quotes_runtime set to "on".
