Works for me.

To use RSS feeds (it shouldn't matter if the file ends in .rss, .rdf, or
.xml), you need to have the option "allow_url_fopen" set to "on" in PHP.
If you're on your own server, you can change that in the php.ini file.
Otherwise, ask your hosting service for help.
