[SecViz] World maps

Hi,

I've got a svg world map from http://commons.wikimedia.org/ that I'd like to
use for integration in GPL software generating images.

Does anybody know what would be the best way to spot a given latitude and
longitude?

I won't use google api nor anything like that.
