Dirk called a feature-freeze on the current code to get a 1.5 release 
out of the door before the new year as far as I remember.
I also have a bigger bunch of finished code I would like to contribute, 
which greatly improves the layout of the admin screens by introducing a 
common menu over all the pages, creating more consistency and increasing 
user-friendliness.
