[geeklog-devel] Geeklog Comments

I recently updated a Geeklog site from version 1.6.1 to 1.7.1

 

I was using Google's Webmasters tools and noticed that I have a number of
Soft 404's under Crawl Errors found after my update was performed.

 

Taking a look I notice that most deal with comments (on staticpages). Here
is a typical url that was not found

 

http://www.mysite.com/comment.php?mode=display&cid=1303

 

This url actually will redirect to the homepage since for it to work the
"mode" should be "view" like so:

 

http://www.mysite.com/comment.php?mode=view&cid=1303

 

I did check Google Search results and the view version of the link can be
found.

 

What I am not sure is if this is a bug and Geeklog 1.7.1 is displaying these
incorrect urls somewhere. I checked my sites search result and I turned the
comment view to threaded and they both produced the correct link.  Is there
anywhere else Geeklog produces links to comments? (I can't think of any off
the top of my head)
