Since the discovery of "the secret history of NLP" to be in the first Human
Potential Movement (HPM) when Dr. Hall discovered that among the second
generation leaders of the HMP were Perls, Satir, and Bateson living together
on the premises at Esalen.  They were leaders in the HPM!  Amazing!  Now we
know where the NLP presuppositions came from- Maslow and Rogers.  Now we
know the foundational psychology of those premises and that way of working

Historically the psychology that Maslow and Rogers developed later got stuck
in academia as Humanistic Psychology and more recently as Positive
Psychology.  It got stuck because both focus primarily on research rather
than transformation. 

 

Now enter Neuro-Semantics.  Growing out of the cognitive-behavior psychology
of NLP with a renewed focus on modeling and rediscovering the HPM source,
Neuro-Semantics launched a new Human Potential Movement in 2007.  IT is now
incorporated in the Meta-Coaching System and the Self-Actualization
workshops- of which there are now four.  This is the principal psychology
that grounds the processes for unleashing potentials and creating
transformation and it is now formulated into a Diploma that's made up of
NLP, Meta-States and the four Unleashing Potentials workshops.
